Our Story

Founded in 2020 by Valarie & JR Wilson, Golden Aura was born out of our passion for sharing the transformative power of rituals, like yoga, meditation, Reiki and piercing. Merging our individual experiences, our professional and personal skills, we have created a purposeful space, offering intentional practices within a serene studio setting.

Over the years, Golden Aura has evolved into a hub for yoga, Reiki, piercing, wellness, and community. We have expanded our offerings to include workshops, events, and trainings, and have cultivated a team of talented and passionate teachers and staff. We are involved in community events and assist local non-profit organizations and schools with fundraising and awareness efforts.

Our vision at Golden Aura is to create a safe, comfortable space where people can experience the joy, peace, and transformation available through the power of ritual (i.e. meditation, yoga, Reiki, piercing). We are committed to providing safe experiences, high-quality instruction, fostering supportive community, and promoting holistic wellness.

At Golden Aura Yoga & Piercing, we believe that yoga and piercing are more than just physical practices. We offer experiences that promote and cultivate mindfulness, self-awareness, and inner peace.  We believe in and teach the right to bodily autonomy. We offer practices, services & classes to support individuals in learning about and making decisions regarding their own body boundaries.

Our skilled and compassionate teachers and staff are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment. We bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, and are committed to ongoing professional development. We look forward to working with you! 

We teach with integrity, compassion and patience. Yoga classes are designed to help build strength, increase flexibility, and reduce stress. We offer a variety of yoga classes for all levels, including vinyasa, hatha, yin, and restorative yoga. We also offer Holy Fire III Reiki Training and Certification Classes.
